DC circulation pumps for seawater
A boat's sea water pump is an essential part of the air-conditioning system: it must provide the condenser with an adequate, continuous flow rate, overcoming the pressure losses caused by intakes, filters, valves, piping, and elevation differences.
Blue-Airco offers 12V, 24V, and 48V DC circulation pumps, designed for seawater cooling in marine air-conditioning systems. The range covers applications with an indicative total capacity from 12,000 to 72,000 BTU/h and includes models with different flow rates, heads, and hydraulic connections.
The pumps use brushless motors and magnetic drive, have a protection rating of IP68, and are protected against dry running. They are not self-priming: the position and configuration of the circuit must therefore ensure a continuous water supply.
