Multizone Control Kit
Two independent climate zones with a single air conditioner
On many boats, a portion of the available air conditioning capacity remains unused, while a nearby area is not served by the system. Manually adjusting the vents does not allow precise control of air distribution and the comfort of different spaces.
The Multizone Control Kit is the Blue-Airco intelligent air distribution system that optimizes the capacity of the unit already installed, directing it where it is needed. With a single air conditioner, it creates two independent climate zones and allows the temperature, fan speed, and operating mode to be adjusted from the second cabin via a dedicated touch display.
A motorized shutter controls the direction of the airflow, while a BLDC fan modulates its intensity. The system operates automatically both in cooling and heating, without requiring a second air conditioning unit or additional refrigerant.
It is designed, manufactured, and tested in Italy.

The Multizone Control Kit is ideal for…
Boats in which you want to air-condition a second area without installing a second unit: a guest cabin, a forward compartment, an area so far excluded from the system.
It is a solution designed for shipyards, installers, and refitters, suitable both for new constructions and for interventions on existing boats. It integrates into the air ducts without requiring structural modifications or interventions on the refrigeration circuit.
The Multizone Control Kit can be paired with both Blue-Airco units and air conditioners from other manufacturers. The second zone is managed through the dedicated touch display of the kit, independent of the main unit's control panel.
It is particularly suitable where space and weight are a constraint, and where adding a second air conditioning unit would mean giving up useful onboard volume.
The advantages of the Multizone Control Kit
Two independent climate zones
A single air conditioning unit serves two separate spaces, each with its own control. The second cabin can be adjusted independently from the main area.
Independent control from the second cabin
A dedicated touch display, installed in the second cabin, manages temperature, fan speed, and operating mode of the second zone. The Multizone display operates independently of the main unit panel, allowing integration even with air conditioners from other manufacturers. The cabin occupant can independently adjust their own comfort without using the main panel.
Automatic management of direction and intensity
The system operates on two axes. A motorized shutter directs the airflow to the area that requires it; a BLDC fan regulates its flow rate. Both are automatically controlled by the dedicated touch display, without manual intervention on the vents.
Optimization of already installed capacity
The available capacity is used to air-condition a second room, instead of requiring the installation of another unit. This provides more comfort from the same air conditioner, without adding additional cooling power.
No additional refrigerant
The kit acts on the air distribution and does not require a second cooling unit. This avoids the addition of refrigerant, materials, and components, reducing the environmental impact and the complexity of maintenance.
Contained weight and dimensions
The complete kit weighs about 1.8 kg in the version with an inline fan, with a significantly smaller footprint compared to the installation of a second air conditioning unit. A direct advantage in terms of usable space, weight, and installation complexity.
Installation without structural modifications
The system integrates into the air ducts, with Ø100 adapters provided in the kit. It does not require invasive interventions on onboard structures, neither in new constructions nor in refits.
Made in Italy
Design, production, and testing are managed in Italy, with great attention to construction quality and the needs of the marine environment.
Technical specifications
Power supply voltage: 12, 24, or 48 VDC.
Damper and display: motorized and touch, included in all versions of the kit.
Second zone display: touch, installed in the second cabin and independent from the main unit's control panel; it controls the damper and the fan.
Compatibility: also with air conditioning units from other manufacturers.
Fan: in-line BLDC; centrifugal BLDC fan available as an optional alternative for longer ducts or with higher pressure losses.
Control: dedicated control PCB for the automatic management of damper and fan.
Kit composition: version with inline fan — electrical box, touch display, display cable, damper, inline fan, and damper Ø100 adapters.
Indicative weight of the kit: 1.8 kg in the version with inline fan.
Operation: in cooling and heating.
Technology: subject to patent application (patent pending).
Available configurations
The Multizone Control Kit is available with 12, 24, or 48 VDC power supply. The standard configuration uses a 200 m³/h inline BLDC fan. For longer ducts or those with higher pressure losses, an optional 500 m³/h BLDC centrifugal fan is available, not included in the standard kit.
The centrifugal fan is available as an alternative to the inline fan for longer ducts or with higher pressure losses and is not included in the standard Multizone Control Kit.
The air flow values are nominal and may vary depending on the duct configuration and installation conditions.
